Dr.Wong is a Harvard, Fellowship Trained, Hand and Microsurgeon who has been serving the community of Bakersfield for over 23 years.

Dr.Wong completed additional training at The Cleveland Clinic and is one of a handful of surgeons on the West Coast trained to operate with a microscope. He provides the latest techniques for treating carpal tunnel syndrome, upper extremity conditions, and trauma including fractures, tendon, blood vessel, and nerve injuries.

We often take our hands for granted until they become injured or fail us in some way. Age does not matter when it comes to the importance of our hands. It is Dr.Wong’s mission to provide comprehensive hand care to patients of all ages. He has treated patients as young as nine days to as old as 104 years.  Though consulting with a surgeon often means you will need surgery, Dr.Wong believes in operating only when it is absolutely necessary. Therefore, if appropriate, you may expect to be offered non-operative management of your condition.

Dr.Wong’s private practice is now located within Premier Family Healthcare, on the Southeast corner of Buena Vista and White Lane. His office will provide you with a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment in which to receive treatment to help restore your hand, wrist, and upper extremity function.
